Who can apply?

  • Students of all faculties
  • Bachelor’s and Master’s students
  • Students with Spanish skills at least on level B2
  • No minimum GPA requirement 

What can you study here?

Intec offers studies in five academic areas: 

  • Ciencias Básicas y Ambientales
  • Ciencias de la Salud
  • Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades
  • Economía y Negocios
  • Ingeniería

There are around 30 study programs at bachelor level and over 35 master's programs and 20 specialization programs. In order to be able to take courses at master's level, you will need to have completed your bachelor's degree.

How many credits do you need to complete?

Minimum 30 local credits per term (one term= two trimesters). Recommended workload is 40 local credits.
1 Intec credit = 0.8 ECTS.

Housing, costs and fees

Intec does not offer housing to exchange students. 

Approximate monthly expenses include: 

  • Rent 15 000 RD$
  • Meals 18 000 RD$
  • Transportation 6000 RD$

Other important matters

The minimum duration of the exchange is two Intec trimesters, which equals one term.
